Dear Members of the Ravens Family

Firstly, the Board of Ravens would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2010.

A special thanks to all those who provided assistance to the Club throughout the 2009 season, be it as coaches, managers or volunteers.

To the Ravens committee your ongoing support is much appreciated and the endless hours you contribute goes a long way to providing the local community with sport, comradeship and many long term friendships. This remains a priority for the continuation of the Ravens in 2010.

Finally, Ravens will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2010 which is a milestone that not many clubs have achieved in this modern era.

The continuation of the Ravens depends solely upon you, as members of the local community and our great club. It is only with your assistance that we can continue to provide our 1200 members with sporting facilities and capabilities.

Following the recent Annual General Meeting, we were not able to get volunteers for the roles of Registrar and Canteen Coordinator.

These roles are critical to the livelihood of the club and without someone offering their assistance we are in a position where we will need to employ someone to carry out these duties. This position will be posted on the Ravens website and advertised in the local newspapers (TWT & NDT). Registration fees for 2010 season will be increased to cover the cost of employing this person.

One would like to think that within the Ravens family and the many resources of employment in office management, sponsorship, communications, website managers and marketing skills that someone must be able to assist or know of someone that can offer some of their time to support the Ravens.

Administration Assistant

After flexible hours? Wanting to give back to the community via a paid position?

Gladesville Ravens Sport Club is a large sporting club who is going into it's 50^th Year in 2010. Ravens offer both Football (Soccer) and Netball participation in local and representative competitions. With around 100 teams we need someone to assist our Board with varied duties throughout the year.  Duties include Canteen Maintenance, and maintaining training and game day kits with other administrative tasks.  Motor vehicle transport necessary. Computer Skills essential.  With approximately 6 hours per week on Mondays and Fridays as a minimum.
