The Gladesville Football School (GFS) is a community based \u2018football education\u2019 organization that aims to provide the local community with access to high level coaching and learning through various programs. The GFS was created with the aim of filling a gap in the local market, by offering players of all ages the opportunity to train regularly, and locally, with professional coaches in a specialized environment, with a particular focus on the female game; The GFS is open to all players, of all levels, from all clubs and playing background.<\/span><\/p>\n

There was mixed results for round 2 for the Gladesville Ravens Premier League with a hard fought 2-2 draw in first grade against a fast and young Pennant Hills FC. Whilst first grade started fast and scored two early goals, Pennant Hills fought back with creative counter attack plays. Holding on and fighting the change of momentum, Ravens held on for a draw.
Ressies unfortunately lost 5-1 to a young and fit Pennant Hills squad who started stronger but Ressies fought back after Pennant Hills had a player sent off for taking down the last man of Ravens. Despite the numerical advantage, Ressies could take advantage and went down after letting 4 quick goals late in the second half.

Round 3 is another trip to the Hills vs West Pennant Hills Lions at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex. Get on out and support the guys on Saturday!

Reserve Grade kicked things off in style with a 6\u20130 win, led by captain Paul Kollias, who scored an incredible four goals.

First Grade followed up with a dominant 10\u20132 victory, with captain Harry Chamma putting away five goals in a standout performance.

Congrats to the Gladesville Ravens Super League first grade who have taken out the premiership and championship double!

After a tense first half where the Ravens punished against the counter going into half down 1-0, they showed great resilience and grit to equalize the game despite playing with 9 for 10 minutes. Then closing out the game in the first half of extra time and sealing the win 2-1 to close out a great season and one to go down in the history books for Gladesville Ravens.

After coming close to the premiership and earning promotion to Premier League in the last 6 years, Gladesville Ravens Super League First Grade have been crowned NWSF Super League Premiers in 2025 and earned promotion back to the NWSF Premier League in 2026.

The season had it all with goals galore, comeback gritty wins, first grade debuts with youth Ravens players stepping up when there were injuries. It\u2019s a testament to the whole Super League squads unwavering commitment to the cause that once they found themselves at the top, they never gave in. A special shout out to first year coaches Barry Foley and Joel Douglas who have guided and mentored the team throughout the year and now bleed black and white.

They now cap off their year with the grand final on Saturday at 3pm at ELS Hall, so get on down and support the team to bring home the double! We wish them all the best for Saturday.
