We are happy to announce that The GIRLS ONLY Gladesville Football school program will commence on 4th March 2022 at Christie Park. This Friday program is aimed at female players only<\/u><\/strong> as the girls will be mixing in with our GSAP and NPL players, along with other players from Ravens or other clubs. More information on our mixed program to follow shortly.<\/p>\n

SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Skills Program is for players aged between 7 and 12 years old. Developing the individual player is what the Skills program is all about. Building technical capability and confidence. The skills we teach will provide the player with solutions to use in game situations when in possession of the ball (1v1 to 3v3). The program is led by Head Coaches Stephen Bott and Liz Gilbane. Sessions are 70 minutes long.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The GFS High Performance Program:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The High-Performance program is for players aged between 13 and 17 year old. Developing the individual player in the game context. Building technical and tactical coherence and confidence. The program will provide the player with solutions to use in game situations when in and out of possession of the ball, both individually and in a local group context (up to 6v6). The program is led by Head Coaches Stephen Bott and Andrew Galbraith. Session are 70 minutes long.<\/p>\n

GOALKEEPER<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goalkeeper program will be run by coaches Jim Fogarty and Romina Parraguirre. Both coaches have played professionally and Romi has played at international level for Chile. The GK program is open to all age groups and is focused on the individual skills required to be keeper, including movement, positioning, handling, diving, and distribution.<\/p>\n

Terms dates are as follows:<\/p>\n

Term 1 \u2013 Friday 4th March to Friday 8th April (6 weeks)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Term 2 \u2013 Friday 6th May to Friday 24th June (8 weeks)<\/p>\n

Term 3 \u2013 Friday 22nd July to 26th August (6 weeks)<\/p>\n
